Just in time for the design enthusiasts flocking to Palm Springs for Modernism Week, Revivals is excited to announce the launch of the Dann Foley Lifestyle Collection pop-up shop, opening its doors on February 24 at 11:00 a.m. Located within the Palm Springs Revivals store, this captivating pop-up shop is set to remain until at least May 1, offering shoppers an exclusive opportunity to explore a curated selection of furnishings and accessories handpicked by renowned interior design team Dann Foley and Beau Stinnette.

DAP Health Chief of Brand Marketing Steven Henke will host a 30-minute panel discussion where Foley, recently named the 2024 Annual ARTS Awards winner for Best Product Designer at the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, and Stinnette will share their insights into the art of transitional design. This innovative approach seamlessly blends old and new, traditional with modern, allowing attendees to learn from their 30-plus years of experience in the industry while meeting the designers in person.

Design Tips – Mixing the Pre-Loved and the New

Revivals encourages the art of blending pre-loved treasures with brand-new Mode furniture. Follow these design tips from Foley and Stinnette for a harmonious and personalized home:

Balance Styles: Mix contemporary Mode furniture with vintage finds for a curated and eclectic look. “As the title of my new book suggests, ‘It’s All in The Mix’,” says Foley. “Those pieces can be modern, contemporary, or traditional, and new or pre-loved. The trick is in how you bring them all together. An heirloom is not just what is handed down to you; it is what you choose it to be.”

Layer Textures: Enhance visual interest by combining different textures in your decor. “Most people are afraid to layer pattern for fear of getting it wrong,” Foley notes. “We give our clients permission to experiment, to be original, and to tell their own stories in the way they live. Layering is more than just a lot of ‘stuff.’ It’s a form of personal storytelling; it doesn’t have to overwhelm a space, but rather, enhances how you live and adds both dimension and comfort to your home.”

Statement Pieces: Let unique, eye-catching items shine as focal points in your space. “Every room needs that WOW piece,” Foley emphasizes. “It is the item the eye is immediately drawn to when entering a space. Big or small, it is most likely an item you invest in. Then we can balance out the room and the budget with coordinating items that are more cost-conscious yet still fabulous.”

Personal Touch: Infuse your personality into the design by showcasing cherished items alongside new acquisitions. “Personal and loved items can be anything that brings you joy,” Foley advises. “Be it a family piece, a new purchase, or a recent acquisition from a treasure chest like Revivals. The only thing that matters is if you love it. Be brave enough to design and decorate to impress only you!”

As part of the launch event, the first 40 people to purchase or order from the Dann Foley Lifestyle collection will receive a complimentary copy of Foley’s new coffee table book, “It’s All in the Mix: Design Ideas for Living Well,” providing invaluable inspiration for aspiring decorators.

The book — part coffee table stunner, part how-to guide — shows how to blend design elements to create the spaces where you can live your best life. Known for his ability to construct a signature mix of design elements, Foley draws on 30-plus years of experience to share how beautiful, effective design decisions can help you live well in your home. Foley focuses on tailoring spaces to suit clients’ needs while curating a blend of meaningful items and combining classic and contemporary styles.

“With the combination of existing pre-loved items and new Dann Foley Lifestyle pieces on display within the pop-up store, we will provide a space where customers can clearly see how to create their own unique and affordable combinations,” says Henke. “Revivals is the valley’s go-to place to flex your DIY design muscles while supporting DAP Health, since 100% of the profits from every purchase go back into the organization’s work creating a healthier community.”
