Revivals Stores are thrilled to announce that we have been voted Best Resale Thrift Furniture Consigment or Vintage Clothing Store in four local reader contests again this year. We received the good news today about our most recent win in CV Independent’s Best of Coachella Valley Contest where readers voted us Best ResaleVintage Clothing Store. We placed second for Best Furniture Store. Last week, readers of The Desert Sun voted Revivals Stores Best Resale Store in the Best of the Valley contest where we were also a finalist in the Best Furniture Store category. In November, readers voted us Best Furniture Store, Best Consignment Store, and Best Resale Thrift Store in Desert Outlook Magazine’s Ultimate Pride Contest. In addition to these contests, we are proud that readers of Palm Springs Life Magazine voted us Best Resale Consignment Store and Best Vintage Clothing Store in Palm Springs Life’s Best of the Best Contest.
We are grateful to our customers for voting for us and thankful to our volunteers and employees who work hard every day to create a shopping experience that’s worthy of being named – The Best.
The very first Revivals store was opened in 1995, in a back corner of the Desert AIDS Project office on Vella Road. Since those earliest days, the funds raised through selling donated goods at Revivals has gone back to support client services at D.A.P., while also providing a great volunteer opportunity for those who wanted to support the organization with their time and retail talents. Today, all of the stores are largely volunteer-run, enabling Revivals to make a significant financial contribution to the annual budget of Desert AIDS Project, which has earned a national reputation as one of the most comprehensive HIV/AIDS service providers in the United States.
