Revivals After Dark: Pride Edition — Where Party Meets Purpose

You know it’s a real one when, an hour before doors open, a line of the hottest people in the valley snakes around the building, buzzing with anticipation. That electric pre-show hum? It only means what’s waiting inside is just as fabulous as who’s queued up outside. That’s the vibe of DAP Health & Palm Springs Leather Order of the Desert (PSLOD)’s Revivals After Dark, back this fall with a Pride Edition that turns shopping into community care.

Honey Davenport Will Spin the Night Bright

Friday, October 24, 6:00–7:30 p.m., Revivals Palm Springs.
Drag royalty, DJ, and fearless fundraiser Honey Davenport (of RuPaul’s Drag Race fame) takes the decks for a set designed to make you move while you make a difference. Davenport, a proud PSLOD member, pitched the idea themself: “I was looking for ways to volunteer with PSLOD, volunteer with DAP Health, and how to pull it all together… what if I DJ at Revivals After Dark?”

DAP Health CMO Steven Henke loved the alignment: “Honey is pure sparkle and fire, the kind of energy that makes you want to dance while also knowing you’re doing good for your community. That’s what makes this night so magical, we turn a party into purpose.”

Honey’s promise for the floor? “A sexy little turnup… a party/fun vibe while you’re shopping and contributing to two organizations that are really the heartbeat of the desert.”

Beyond the booth, Davenport’s busy building impact: crowned Mr. Dick’s Leather this year, competing for Mr. Palm Springs Leather, honored by Palm Springs Pride with the Spirit of Stonewall Award, and launching Honey’s Hose, an inclusive line of hosiery for every size, shade, and style. “Titles are temporary,” they say. “The way you affect other people’s reality, that’s your legacy.”

What After Dark Looks Like (and Why People Love It)

Launched in 2019, Revivals After Dark is a semi-annual 90-minute pop-up that regularly raises $25,000+ for DAP Health and PSLOD. When the doors open, the back alley transforms into an adults-only bazaar of donated, pre-loved treasures not suited for family-friendly shelves: think underwear, leatherwear and gear, harnesses, naughty tees, erotica of all stripes (books, art, games, toys, and more). You’ll also find racks of leather jackets, pants, vests, and jumpsuits; tables of erotic art and vintage mags; and enough kink accessories to make seasoned pros compare notes.

The culture is the best part: folks try on gear in the open, swap sizes with new friends, and cheer each other on. As Henke puts it, “You’ll see people from all walks of life shopping, picking up everything from bondage restraints to nude paintings, with no secrecy and no shame. Just laughter, sharing, and joy in exploration.”

PSLOD President David Dunn underscores the community-first ethos: “Our club and events are places where you can be safe to meet people, express yourself, and learn to live your truth.”

A Preview Night for Mx Pineapple and a Gift from NakedSword

This October’s After Dark doubles as a teaser for Pineapple Support’s “Mx Pineapple Cabaret” fundraiser on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Oscar’s in Palm Springs — a bold, glittering night benefiting free and subsidized mental health care for adult entertainers worldwide.

  • Meet & Greet: Expect Sister Roma and the NakedSword team on-site at After Dark handing out postcards that include a free month of NakedSword for attendees.

  • Behind-the-Scenes Magic: Thanks to community leader and CEO Zach Ivey (aka Trenton Ducati), Falcon Studios sets, props, and costumes will be donated for the event — adding authentic studio flair to the October sale.

Why this partnership matters: Ivey’s long track record blends harm-reduction advocacy (he co-founded a prevention nonprofit in 2013) with DAP Health collaborations (a 2022 campaign promoting free HIV testing). It’s the kind of cross-community leadership that keeps health access expansive and stigma low.

Cabaret, Comedy, and Community on November 19

At Mx Pineapple Cabaret, the stage at Oscar’s will showcase adult film legend and cabaret star Drew Sebastian, Palm Springs powerhouse Billy L’Amour, and “Drag Race” alum, vocalist, and trans activist Honey Mahogany — hosted by industry icon Ana Foxxx, Palm Springs’ own Ethylina Canne, and the incomparable Sister Roma. General admission is free, with select seating and VIP options at OscarsPalmSprings.com.

Why This Night Matters

Every dollar raised at After Dark stays local, supporting PSLOD’s mission and fueling DAP Health’s work to deliver compassionate, affirming care for everyone. Henke is direct about the partnership’s impact: “PSLOD invited us in and helped us grow. We run our messaging by them to ensure we’re depicting kink, fetish, and leather authentically. It’s made us more emotionally intelligent in how we show up.”

Or, as Dunn says: “There’s no one way to do any of this. it’s about you living your truth. There’s no box. No uniform. We’re here to support that.”
