Revivals San Diego is proud to announce their Red Ribbon sponsorship in the San Diego AIDS Walk 2014. The consignment store, located in Hillcrest, has an ongoing supportive relationship with the San Diego LGBT Community Center (the Center), in which a percentage of all profits go to assisting the Center with its needs.
The San Diego AIDS Walk will begin Friday, September 26, 2014 with “Reasons We Remember” opening ceremonies. The following day, on September 27th, over 8,000 people will come together to participate and support the Walk. Loved ones who have been lost to this disease will be honored and remembered. Funds raised will support more than 20,000 San Diegans currently living with HIV/AIDS.
The AIDS Walk 2014 is a program of the Center developed to be a symbol of the community’s commitment to fighting this disease and supporting those affected by it. Revivals San Diego will be supporting the Center’s team, aimed at raising $10,000 for the Walk, as well as creating their own team for the event. Revivals will also have a booth and lounge at the event and welcomes all to stop by and join them.
Join Revivals San Diego in supporting this important cause by walking in their team, pledging funds, or volunteering at the event. To join or for more information, please contact Mitch Allcorn, Manager, Revivals Stores at email@example.com or 619.969.5754.
